Birds of Gull Island - Pigeon Guillemot
Detail below..
In Summer, they are dull black with a striking white wing patch. Their feet and the insides of their mouths are bright orange-red.
They are quite vocal, uttering high-pitched whistling calls when coming to or leaving a nest crevasse. Guillemots travel as far south as Southern California in winter.
