Winter Birds - Boreal Owl

A boreal Owl perches midway up an old spruce, beping long into the early spring night, proclaiming the territory he has chosen - an old woodpecker hole. The owl had performed a circling display flight to entice his mate to this nest, uttering his territorialsong, clapping his wings audibly for his mate to see and hear.
