Blue Panther Chameleon

Blue Panther Chameleon in its habitat somewhere on the Island of Madagascar. I painted this partially to relieve cabin fever, Started it shortly before winter solstice of 2000, I knew I could not get away to the tropics so I went there in my imagination. As a herpetologist, I am fascinated with the Chameleon family. I hope to some day see one of these in the wild.
